On Monday, February 28, 2011, Professor E. Lawrence Singer, MA, JD, Director of the Beazley Institute for Health Law and Policy at Loyola University Chicago, spoke on "The Impact of Health Reform on Physicians and Hospitals". Professor Singer discussed the changes brought about by health care reform to the health care environment both nationally and in Chicago.  He explained what this new environment portends for physicians and hospitals, how health care reform is impacting these forces, and how the way that physicians practice and hospitals operate is likely to change in the future.
